Where We Started and Where We Are Today
In 1996, Coulter & Justus, P.C. dedicated the resources to
establish a consulting and valuation division headed by a former
Ernst & Young partner and regional director of valuation services.
This group is now known as C&J Valuation Advisors, and has several full-time professionals, with vast business valuation and transactional knowledge, and with advanced professional credentials, comprising over 70-years experience.
However, we continued to hear from clients and business people that we had to be one of Knoxville’s best kept secrets. We believe that the attorneys, accountants, and business owners we serve increasingly recognize the benefits of our experienced team approach to their clients' needs.
C&J Valuation Advisors offers a resource unique to East Tennessee. There is no other group based in Knoxville that has a team of professionals that bring together a diverse background of experience which not only includes business valuation, but also
litigation and expert witness advice, commercial banking, investment banking and private equity experience obtained not only in Knoxville, but in the larger financial centers of Atlanta, New York City and London, England.
